Overview

Built on the successful platform of the InfraLab Series 9, the Top Loader is an advanced at-line analyzer that can measure color as well as moisture and other key constituents in 5 seconds. The InfraLab Top Loader was designed to facilitate sample presentation and reduce human error. It is ideal for those bulk, powdered, and semi-solid products for which it is difficult to present a sample with a uniform surface.

The innovative top-loading design and the integrated color measurement make this InfraLab the ideal choice for grains and beans processors, including coffee makers. Other product applications include cookies and semi-solid products, such as cream cheese or yogurt. The InfraLab Top Loader also boasts a static sample holder for analyzing sheet products such as sheet tobacco, paper, and polymer sheets.

Powders & Ground Products

For powdered and ground products, variations due to sample handling and presentation can be challenging. Specifically, operators may encounter time-based sample handling variations caused by changes in surface moisture due to evaporation from elevated product temperatures or absorption from atmospheric humidity. The new InfraLab Top Loader eliminates the effects of surface moisture changes through its design and upward optics. It also minimizes the impact of inconsistent sample presentation due to variable sample filling/compaction (surface scattering effects).
