Overview
The InfraLab Series 9 is the at-line analyzer to the Series 9 on-line gauge. It provides rapid, accurate measurement of moisture and other key constituents in single- or multiple-component configurations in a variety of food, tobacco, and bulk industrial products. Easy-to-use, the InfraLab requires no special operator skills, and takes just 5 seconds to make the analysis.

Replace Laboratory Methods
The InfraLab is designed as a routine replacement for loss-on-drying, Karl Fischer or gravimetric moisture testing and to replace chemical methods for fat or protein analysis, such as Soxhlet, Weibull-Stoldt or Kjeldahl. Once calibrated to your preferred reference methods using the built-in calibration tools, its key advantages are: speed, minimal sample preparation and the fact that it measures a larger, more representative sample than other techniques. The InfraLab is accessed via its intuitive, touch-screen interface and requires no special user skills in routine use.
How it Works
Using multi-wavelength NIR reflection, the InfraLab does not require contact with the product sample. The sample dish is placed on the turntable; the InfraLab automatically recognizes that it has been placed there and begins the analysis. The InfraLab has its own substantial onboard data storage capacity (up to 100,000 sample files), but data can also be downloaded periodically to a USB memory stick (encrypted) or directly to a PC for analysis in a spreadsheet or other software. Alternatively, it connects via Ethernet to a PC where the data is stored and displayed and can also be integrated into a LIMS network.
