ValveMate Auger Valve Controllers
Nordson EFD ValveMate™ 7194 Series controllers provide precise time, fluid pressure, and speed control when used with our 794/794-TC Series auger dispense valves.
Overview
7194 Series auger valve controllers allow users to easily adjust valve open time in small, convenient increments as small as 0.001 seconds. This provides exceptional process control while eliminating the need to reprogram a PLC. Users can cycle the valve faster and with greater deposit accuracy and repeatability.
The controller is available in a 0–30 psi (0–2 bar) version for solder pastes, silver conductive epoxies, and other filled fluids, and a 0–100 psi (0–7 bar) version for dispensing thicker filled materials, such as thermal compounds.
The controller features a reverse capability mode, allowing clean cutoff at the dispense tip for particularly sticky or tacky fluids. Its precision air pressure regulator controls pressure to the syringe barrel and can be operated in continuous or pulse mode.
Each 794/794-TC Series auger valve requires a 7194 controller for optimal valve performance. EFD controllers are simple to set up and operate, and easy to interface with PLCs and other equipment.
Features & Benefits
- Reverse capability mode provides clean cutoff for sticky material
- Motor voltage of 10-24 VDC
- Nonvolatile, power-off memory
- Motor overload fault detection
