Your System Options
The complete system includes two 797PCP-2K volumetric dispensing pumps, a manifold, a touchscreen ValveMate 7197PCP-2K or two 7197PCP-DIN-NX controllers, two fluid reservoirs, and a bayonet static mixer. Integrate with an EFD automated dispensing system for even faster throughput.
EFD bayonet static mixers deliver complete and thorough mixing for superior mix quality and bond strength. They come in multiple lengths, diameters, and with various outlet styles. Some feature luer lock adapters for attaching dispensing tips.
A standard 797PCP pump is also available for precise volumetric dispensing of one-component fluids in automated assembly processes.
7197PCP-DIN-NX volumetric pump controller is available for Smart Factory integration. It allows communication with a PLC or other manufacturing plant controllers using TCP/IP via Ethernet.
The unique correction factor setting on the 7197PCP controllers help to correct deposit variance to keep the deposit volumes consistent to the original target within ± 1% deposit tolerance.
797PCP-2K Shutoff Bracket Accessory
Nordson EFD 797PCP-2K shutoff bracket technology eliminates leaking, drooling, and dripping at the outlet of 797PCP-2K progressive cavity pumps.
The 797PCP-2K shutoff bracket assembly enables you to dispense two-component (2K) adhesives and sealants with confidence. That’s because the Nordson EFD 797PCP-2K shutoff bracket technology eliminates leaking, drooling, and dripping at the outlet of 797PCP-2K progressive cavity pumps. Manufacturers can reduce 2K production waste, lower manufacturing costs, decrease production time, and improve quality — putting an end to long set times or stringing challenges.
The 797PCP-2K Shutoff Bracket Assembly solves these problems:
- Eliminates drooling, leaking, and dripping at the outlet of your progressive cavity pump
- Offers a rapid return on investment, improving production efficiency and reducing waste
- Easy integration with your 797PCP-2K progressive cavity pump
- Dispensing tips deliver precise, consistent deposits and ensure drip-free dispensing
The shutoff bracket offers precise, consistent, and drip-free fluid dispensing.
The shutoff bracket’s focus is to provide positive shutoff of the fluid flow when using a 797PCP-2K progressive cavity pump.
The solution does this using a disposable Y-valve, installed onto the end of the static mixer, and controlled by an air cylinder, triggered by the same I/O signal which triggers the pumps.
Using sophisticated air close and air open technology on the Y-valve in concert with flow control adjustment knobs on the air cylinder, the system provides positive shutoff of the material. That level of control allows the 797PCP-2K system to deliver precise, consistent, deposits while ensuring drip-free dispensing.
Your equipment should be able to grow where your business takes you. The shutoff bracket assembly offers seamless compatibility with Nordson EFD automated fluid dispensing solutions, including:
- E Series (E3 — E5 only) robots
- EV Series (E3V — E6V only) robots
- All PROPlus / PRO Series, and GV Series robots
The shutoff bracket operates seamlessly with Nordson EFD automated fluid dispensing solutions.
797PCP-2K Modular Manifolds Accessory
The 797PCP-2K Modular Manifolds provide a modular design, offer improved process control, help eliminate risk, and retrofit on your existing 797PCP-2K system.
Nordson EFD’s 797PCP-2K modular manifolds are engineered to provide mixing options for a broad range of two-part fluids and viscosities. The modular design allows use with or without pressure sensors, and is compatible with EFD spiral and Turbo bayonet and standard bell style mixers.
With pressure sensors, manufacturers can safeguard that two-component (2K) fluids are mixed properly. This ensures that two-part fluids cure correctly, saving valuable production time and reducing rework and rejects.
As part of a completely integrated solution, the modular manifolds operate seamlessly with our 797PCP-2K pumps, controllers, static mixers, and accessories.
The 797PCP-2K Modular Manifolds solve these problems:
- Provide a modular design for greater versatility
- Offer improved process control to ensure 2K mix ratio integrity
- Eliminate risk of rejected parts due to improper mix ratio or fluid cure
- Retrofit on existing 797PCP-2K progressive cavity pump system installations
The 797PCP-2K modular manifolds deliver on the promise of modular function with four different pump sizes to choose from:
- 0.01 mL per rev
- 0.05 mL per rev
- 0.15 mL per rev
- 0.30 mL per rev
In addition to the available sizes, the pumps are fully serviceable with minimum downtime, and easy mounting for integrated tabletop automation installations.
- Interchangeable rotor / stator for 0.01 mL & 0.05 mL pump sizes
- 0.15 & 0.30 mL sizes require longer housing body
- Durable DC Brush Motor with encoder for accurate rotation / speed control
The modular manifolds integrate with four different pump sizes.
Engineered for use with and without pressure sensors, the modular manifold enables you to use the process monitoring solution you need for your application.
To meet industry and customer needs, Nordson EFD developed 2K manifolds that can accept pressure sensors. This technology enables you to use Omega PX61V Series sensors for process monitoring. For applications that do not require this degree of process monitoring, you can easily remove the pressure sensors and use your 797PCP-2K modular manifold without them.
A key advantage of the sensors is that they monitor the fluid pressure – not the flow rate – of Part A and Part B fluids, offering improved process control that ensures your 2K mix ratio integrity.
The Omega PX61V Series sensors offer these important features:
- Miniature flush diaphragm for easy cleaning
- All stainless-steel construction
- Available in PSIA, PSIS, PSIG, and metric ranges
Please note that the sensors must be connected to signal conditioners that connect to your plant controller or PLC in order to see a fluid pressure read out.
The modular manifold system offers two flow path sizes for the spiral and Turbo bayonet and bell mixers.
The 797PCP-2K modular manifold system's modular functionality includes manifolds for EFD bayonet and standard bell mixers. The solution offers two flow path sizes for the spiral and Turbo bayonet and bell mixers:
- For a 1:1 fluid ratio mix, use a 2 mm x 2 mm bayonet manifold or 5 mm x 5 mm bell manifold
- For a 4:1 or 10:1 fluid ratio mix, use a 2 mm x 4 mm bayonet manifold or 2 mm x 5 mm bell manifold
The modular manifold system is ideal for aerospace, automotive, electronics, life sciences, wireless / display, and industrial applications.
The flexible, modular 797PCP-2K modular manifolds are ideal for aerospace, automotive, electronics, life science, wireless / display, and industrial applications.
