Nordson UniversityNordson University is our online learning management system that gives employees access to a range of educational courses right at their fingertips. Beyond its professional development curriculum, our Nordson University platform houses an assortment of courses that promote personal enrichment and well-being. Nordson regularly refreshes Nordson University with new content and courses to facilitate continuous growth. The platform covers a variety of topics, including:

NBS Next Accelerator
NBS Next Accelerator training focuses on the NBS Next business system pillar of the Ascend strategy. Topics include the development of cellular manufacturing flows, organizational change management, production innovation strategy, customer relationship management, and interpreting financial statements.
Leadership Development Programs
- The Financial Leadership Development Program (FLDP) prepares new hires who have recently earned a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field to take on roles of increasing responsibility at Nordson. Through a combination of rotational assignments, formalized feedback and mentoring, program participants interact with senior finance leaders and participate in various key financial initiatives to set them on a progressive career track within the company’s Finance Department.
- The Commercial Leadership Development Program (CLDP) creates a pipeline of future leaders who possess the skills necessary to succeed in sales and commercial-related roles at Nordson. As part of the program, participants will go through a variety of development experiences spanning two nine-month rotations. All CLDP participants are supported by a mentor, business leaders, and other Nordson professionals to help accelerate their development. Those who successfully complete the program will be qualified to be placed into a commercial role of their interest.
- Leadership Excellence and Development (LEAD) training focuses on the Winning Teams pillar of the Ascend strategy. The purpose of this program is to develop and enhance well-rounded leadership capabilities in our existing and emerging leaders through practical application. LEAD training emphasizes the importance of coaching, development, care, well-being, mental health, what and why leadership, accountability, self-awareness, and other key leadership skills.
