Low-frequency heat cycles apply heat unevenly to the wire, resulting in hot and cold spots in the insulation material. Smart Temp uses high-frequency preheating that applies the optimum heat cycles to the wire. This ensures consistent heating along the length of the wire, regardless of speed. Smart Temp is designed to minimize power losses, using all the input power to heat the wire and meet the unique temperature requirements of your process. With Smart Temp, you can store up to 50 material types, automatically adjusting the voltage to the wire based on the type of material selected. Smart Temp also offers a wide range of dry contact and analog inputs and outputs.
