Many in the packaging industry already know the Blue Series Applicator from Nordson. Now, this trusted applicator has received an upgrade that makes it even more powerful and reliable. The Blue Series™ II builds on the proven strengths of its predecessor, offering smarter design, cleaner operation, and serviceability that keeps production moving.
Every detail has been refined: integrated filtration extends system life, upgraded cordset simplify troubleshooting, and a streamlined solenoid concept makes component selection and replacement faster and easier. Maintenance is more efficient than ever: one tool handles service tasks efficiently like module replacement, solenoid valve change, filter change, cordset replacement, bar clamp position adjustment. Components can be replaced quickly, and the Quick-Change solenoid valve minimizes downtime.
Nordson also introduces the SureBead™ II and SolidBlue™ II modules, the next evolution of the Blue Series family. SureBead™ II ensures clog-free, self-cleaning performance, while SolidBlue™ II delivers a clean, round cut-off. Optimized seals, precision-machined needle tips, and larger weep areas extend service intervals and ensure consistent, high-quality application. Both modules feature Air Open-Air Close technology for precise cut-off, reduced material waste, and repeatable results. The system is backwards compatible with Blue Series I.
