Three types of pelletizers are available in the market: Underwater pelletizers (as developed by BKG®), water-ring pelletizers, and strand pelletizers. Depending on the type of pelletizer, the pellet shapes range from spherical to rounded but flat to cylindrical, with flat 90° edges.
