BKG® POLY Continuous Large Area Screen Changer
The BKG® POLY operates continuously and is suitable for polymerization processes at large-scale throughputs.
Overview
The BKG® POLY is THE melt filter to go with whenever virgin polymer melt needs to be prepared for direct extrusion of films, fibers, straps, profiles, sheets, or tubes at large-scale volumes up to 45,000 kg/h (99,208 lbs/hr)..
Virgin polymer pellets are usually free of contaminants, but there can always be dust and deposits from transport and storing. Hence, an additional filtration step before the extrusion increases the melt quality, ensuring a perfectly clean polymer.
