Can I reuse a dispense tip?

Like syringe barrels, precision dispensing tips are designed for single use only. The dimensions make them impossible to fully clean. Any attempted reuse can lead to cross-contamination between like fluids, dissimilar fluids, and even the cleaning material. Worse, particularly in the case of adhesives or high viscosity fluids, the tip could become blocked entirely. As a result of these factors, EFD cannot guarantee the quality or performance of our dispense tips after first use.

EFD prices dispensing tips for single use. Any savings realized from reuse are minimal, particularly when compared to the costs of scrap, rework, and unscheduled downtime. Once a syringe has been emptied, discard the syringe barrel and dispensing tip and start fresh with new ones.
