EDI® Stretch Film Dies
Manufacture film that provides protection from external elements, plus the durability for load retention and frequent handling.
Overview
Stretch films are heavily utilized in our daily lives to protect everything from perishable foods to the latest package arriving on our doorsteps. From production to end use, these films are handled in multiple capacities that rigorously test their performance capabilities.
Deliver Dependable Film
By effectively controlling the polymer flow throughout the cast extrusion operation, processors manufacture a film with a uniform thickness that is capable of securing a load without tearing or puncturing. A film’s production also influences how easily it is used (whether by hand or machine).

Benefitting Your Process
Deliver Film With Consistent Properties Throughout Its Width
Our patent-pending Multiflow™ 10 manifold presents cast film processors with many benefits in an industry-preferred die body design. The manifold is designed with a faster purging flow channel (when compared to competitive designs) to provide the lowest residence time in a straight backline manifold die and is suited for a broad range of LLDPE grades.
Manufacture Film That’s Ready for a Packaging Challenge
Our stretch film dies are designed to meet the needs of producers who turn to coextrusion processes to create a multi-layer structure with increased durability.
The Multiflow™ 10 manifold features larger preland gaps and longer lip lands to prevent coextrusion instability. This means the desired layer-to-layer ratio remains virtually the same throughout the width of the film, giving packaging producers reassurance that their product will perform as expected.
