Continuous melt filters from Nordson provide uninterrupted filtration bringing maximum efficiency to your extrusion operation. The BKG® NorCon™ K-SWE-4K is suitable for extrusion, compounding, and recycling applications.
Overview
The BKG® NorCon™ K-SWE-4K model is based on a proven double-piston design with four screen cavities, two per piston. One piston is fully moved out of the housing for screen change; the other remains in the process for process consistency.
The K-SWE-4K model is best suited for processing normal to low contamination levels when your upstream components provide a medium inlet pressure.
Automated Venting
The BKG® NorCon™ K-SWE-4K can be equipped with an automated melt pressure-controlled venting start feature. This provides reliable, repeatable, and independent of material, throughput, temperature, system pressure, and viscosity changes venting procedure, ensuring a high-quality end-product.
