ASYMTEK Dual-Action Bracket
Maximize the performance of your Select Coat® conformal coating system with the ASYMTEK Dual-Action Bracket—a versatile mounting solution designed to support dual-valve configurations while overcoming clearance limitations and complex board geometries.
Overview
Compatible with the Select Coat SL-940 and SL-1040 systems, the Dual-Action Bracket enables manufacturers to run either two identical or two different valves, improving process flexibility and enabling advanced coating strategies without additional equipment.
The Dual-Action Bracket is engineered for dynamic, automated valve control using EasyCoat® 6 software. Operators can assign each valve during program setup, and the system automatically activates the correct valve during operation—no manual changeover required.
Key Benefits
The Dual-Action Bracket features a synchronized dual-slide mechanism that optimizes vertical clearance during coating operations:
- With dual-slide operation, both valves move simultaneously—one engages the substrate while the other retracts
- Up to 70 mm (2.76 in.) of Z-axis clearance, allowing the idle valve to safely clear tall components
- Reduces the risk of collisions and expands the range of board designs you can process
This coordinated motion ensures consistent coating performance even in assemblies with densely populated or high-profile components.
Flexible Valve Configuration and Spacing
Support a wide range of ASYMTEK valves and application technologies in one adaptable bracket:
- Compatible with film coaters, jets, and dispense valves
- Supports all ASYMTEK conformal coating valve configurations
- Adjustable valve spacing up to 150 mm (5.91 in.) for application-specific setups
Because spacing is fully adjustable, the Dual-Action Bracket eliminates the constraints of fixed-pitch designs and simplifies configuration for new applications.
Designed for Advanced Coating Applications
Enhance your coating process with additional capabilities:
- Seamless switching between different fluid types
- Improved process control and coating precision across varied substrates
