Powder Coating System - Automatic
Nordson's Encore and Encore HD powder coating guns offer superior performance, high productivity, and repeatability. With advanced technology and fast robot movement capability, the spray systems can deliver a smooth, soft spray even at high powder output.
The Nordson Encore® HD spray gun system is designed to deliver optimal powder coating results with precision. The spray gun combined with Dynamic Contouring Movers enable accurate positioning, allowing for fewer manual touch-ups and an increase in productivity. With the use of this spray gun system, powder coating operations can gain greater process control and achieve improved end product quality. The spray gun is capable of delivering a consistent spray pattern despite uneven nozzle wear, and the spray fan can be adjusted from narrow to wide for flexibility in applying a variety of powder coating gun applications.
Powder Coating Booths
Nordson’s powder coating booths and guns are designed for maximum efficiency, offering superior performance and fast color change. Powder Coating Industry and HDLV Technology
Unique to Nordson, dense phase technology offers patented HDLV® (High Density, Low Velocity) Encore HD pumps, which deliver a high concentration of powder to the spray gun with only a fraction of the air required by conventional, ejector-pump systems. This spray pattern air is added separately, straight to the spray gun. The separation of powder and air allows powder coaters to fine-tune the powder output for the required production rate and customize spray velocity and pattern size for the best application results.
Powder coating is an efficient alternative to using conventional paint. Powders are applied electrostatically and then cured under heat, creating a much more durable finish than conventional paint. For exemple, powder coating aluminum requires the aluminum surface to be pre-treated, which typically includes degreasing and either sandblasting or chemical etching. This helps to create a strong bond between the aluminum and the powder particles, resulting in a superior finish that will last for decades with minimal maintenance.
