New Sealant Application Development and Training Center
Executive Vice President Stephen Lovass today performed the ribbon cutting ceremony for the formal opening of our new Sealant Application Development & Training Center, at our Wixom, MI, USA facility.
The event reflects our investment in the continued growth of our cold material dispensing and automotive assembly markets. Featuring state-of-the-art customer test labs large enough to house automobiles or even aircraft wings, and a unique environment for customers and staff to collaborate and train, we can't wait to welcome visitors.
"We wanted to create a brand new, state-of-the-art space in Wixom where we could work collaboratively with industry partners, material suppliers and of course our customers," stated Justin Hall, Business Unit Director, Nordson Sealant Equipment.Each of our four self-contained labs are fully equipped with the latest dispensing technology and robots, and are scalable in size to allow demonstration of our full range of applications, such as automotive, aerospace and battery assembly or general industry bonding, potting and sealing processes.
The air conditioned lab, training and conference facilities also feature private work environments that enable our visitors to comfortably attend to their daily business needs while on site. The advanced Application Development & Training Center supports both our Automotive Assembly and Sealant Equipment product lines and is ideally situated in the Detroit area, at the same facility as our R&D, manufacturing and engineering operations.
