Nordson Introduces New Rhino VE Bulk Unloaders for Adhesive and Sealant Dispensing
Nordson Introduces New Rhino VE Bulk Unloaders for Adhesive and Sealant Dispensing; Innovative Design Features Improve Performance and Reduce Maintenance.
AMHERST, OH, February 23, 2011 – Nordson Corporation (NASDAQ-NDSN), a recognized leader in adhesive dispensing technology, introduces the new Rhino® VE bulk unloader for dispensing high viscosity, ambient temperature adhesives and sealants. The Rhino VE unloader is built for ease of operation, with a modular design that provides the flexibility needed to meet a wide range of application requirements.
The Rhino VE bulk unloader incorporates many features that improve performance and material flow in high-wear applications. Large internal passages reduce flow resistance and material shearing. As a result, more consistent material output is achieved with less degradation. In addition, the unit utilizes an oil-less motor that eliminates material contamination, reducing maintenance and assisting manufacturers in meeting environmental demands. Quick-change flange-mounted design on the packing gland allows for quick and easy pump packing changes, decreasing maintenance costs and eliminating material curing on the threaded sections. Fast air-motor changes also ensure consistent material pressure to reduce pump winks, which often cause inconsistent material flow.
The Rhino VE unloader is available with Nordson’s ScoreGuard® coating, which provides superior wear resistance and improves performance with highly abrasive materials. Other options include 5- and 55- gallon capacities and an automatic changeover feature, which minimizes downtime by allowing continuous production during a container change. Manufacturers also have a choice of multiple ratios and follower sizes.
“The Rhino VE product line is packed with new features that improve maintainability and performance, and are designed to exceed the demands of a wide range of cold materials applications in the transportation, aerospace, construction and solar/wind power industries – all at an affordable price,” says Pat Flinn, marketing manager, Nordson Industrial Coating Systems.
