Harmony® Modules
The Harmony dispensing modules support applications ranging from continuous spray or slot coating to demanding ultra-high-speed intermittent applications.
Overview
Continuous Module: These modules are engineered for continuous spray or slot dispensing applications. Harmony continuous modules feature a robust and proven ball-and-seat design. The solenoid can either be integrated with a single module or a group of continuous dispensing modules.
Intermittent Modules: Harmony intermittent modules are available in two different options and are engineered to accommodate intermittent spray or slot dispensing applications. All intermittent modules feature a high-performance retract-on-close needle and seat design to enhance leading and trailing pattern edges.
Features:
- Available in continuous, standard intermittent, and premium high-speed intermittent options
- Fast, consistent response over the life of the module
- Improved pattern uniformity in coating direction; reduced “hammerhead”
- Interchangeable, common bore dispensing modules
- Highly engineered modules feature proprietary coatings
- All offerings are fully rebuildable with convenient kits
- OptiStroke™ compatibility (Premium Intermittent modules only)
Benefits
- Continuous and intermittent modules may be combined on the same applicator to accommodate pattern requirements
- Ability to create shorter patterns or shorter pattern gaps at high production speeds
- Pattern positions are maintained even in high-speed intermittent applications with minimal need to compensate for timing
- Expanded compatibility with a broad spectrum of adhesives
- Modules can be updated in the field to convert continuous to intermittent applications and vice versa.
- Extended service life to reduce total cost of ownership
- Module response verification through needle stroke detection

1 Oil-free air must be used.
2 Maximum number of cycles depends on operating and control air pressures, and adhesive viscosity.
3 The hydraulic flow rate depends on operating system pressures and adhesive viscosity
4 Measured directly at the solenoid connector
