Our top-of-the-line jet cleaners, also known as pyrolysis furnaces or self-cleaning ovens, use a thermal cleaning method to remove the polymer residue left on metal parts that have been used to process molten polymers.

Investing in a reliable pyrolysis oven allows you to decrease maintenance efforts, keep operating costs low, and ensure the metal parts on your production line function at their best for longer. Given the ever-present goal to be as sustainable as possible, it is a must to reuse metal parts that have been exposed to polymer melt. The right pyrolytic oven enables you to jet clean them using thermal oxidation techniques that work.

Our Range of Thermal Cleaning Systems

We offer different sizes of pyrolytic ovens to suit your specific requirements. The chamber of our "mini" jet cleaner measures 9.5 inches in diameter and 12 inches in length. We also offer 6 larger models, ranging from 15.5 to 36 inches in diameter, and from 23.5 to 72 inches in length.

Advantages of Pyrolysis

Pyrolysis is a thermal cleaning solution that successfully removes polymer residue from metal parts by breaking it down. For example, pyrolysis can be used to clean your BKG® Die Plates & Cutter Hubs for underwater pelletizing systems, and your Filtration Accessories, e.g. the BKG® FlexDisc™ filter stack (a medium for the filtration of contaminated polymer melt). Here are just a few reasons why customers choose our jet cleaners as their preferred method of polymer removal.

  • Compared to using solvents, pyrolytic ovens can be an economical choice to keep your production line functioning smoothly and reduce maintenance and downtime.
  • Pyrolysis is the preferred choice for removing polymers that may not respond well to cleaning methods that rely on solvents.
  • This thermal cleaning process ensures your parts are successfully cleaned without the risk of oxidation.
  • Pyrolysis is an efficient solution that requires less labor than other methods.

If you have more questions about the advantages of jet cleaners and the pyrolysis cleaning process, our team is here to help.
