IPC-J Standards
EFD’s Solder Paste Group continually strives to exceed IPC J-Standards to guarantee customer satisfaction. We also provide various certificates to those who need documentation.

Certificate of Conformance (C of C)
Documentation signed or otherwise authenticated by an authorized individual certifying the degree to which items or services meet specified requirements.
Certificate of Origin (C of O)
Documentation to authenticate the country of origin of the merchandise being shipped.
North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) Certificate
An agreement between the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, the purpose of NAFTA was to encourage trade by eliminating tariffs on most goods originating in and traded between these countries over a fifteen-year period.
Certificate of No Change
Documentation to certify the items or contents specified have not been altered from original specification. Most common usage is for part number changes for military/government specified items.

WEEE
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) is a directive from the European Parliament and of the Council of the European Union on restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. The intention of the directive is to reduce electrical and electronic equipment waste, increase recovery by recycling, and improve the environmental process of manufacturers. The directive concentrates specifically toward equipment dependent upon electrical currents or electromagnetic fields in order to work properly and designed for use with a voltage rating not exceeding 1000 volts AC and 1500 volts DC.
