AMHERST, OH, December 2, 2013 – Nordson Corporation (NASDAQ-NDSN), a leader in adhesive and sealant dispensing technologies, introduces the Process Sentry 3 system controller, the next-generation control system for Nordson cold adhesive and sealant material dispensing systems. The Process Sentry 3 controller incorporates embedded controls for real-time system monitoring and a new easy-to-use graphic interface for simple troubleshooting and fast resolution of process issues, reducing downtime and maintenance costs.
Typically used with Nordson engineered systems for automotive assembly applications – including body shop, stamping, paint shop, glass bonding and powertrain applications – the Process Sentry 3 controller incorporates a touch-screen display to provide precise graphic representation of the entire dispense system – valve, automation, bulk delivery system and optional temperature conditioning systems or electrically heated zones. It also controls all aspects of the dispensing equipment, including volume dispensed, system pressures, cable continuity and component function.
