For more than 30 years, the Powder Coating Institute has hosted an annual event that focuses on providing education for all those using powder coating and those interested in learning more about the technology. Over the years, the event has taken many forms. With a strong commitment to continuous education of the powder coating industry, PCI will again host its Powder Coating Week 2024 from March 11th – 13th in Orlando, FL.

Powder Coating Week 2024 consists of four separate events: 1. Powder Coating 101 Workshop - Powder Coating Done Right: The Basics; 2. Custom Coater Forum; 3. Powder Coating Technical Conference; 4. Tabletop Exhibition

Join Nordson Industrial Coating Systems (ICS), a leader in manufacturing world-class equipment for powder coating and recovery in a variety of industries, at table # 35-36 to speak with our experts! From small single gun operations to those with rapid color changes and up to large, automated spray booth operations, Nordson ensures efficient and consistent powder applications for increased productivity and optimal product quality.

On display will be the patented HDLV® (High Density, Low Velocity) Encore HD pumps, which deliver a high concentration of powder to the spray gun with only a fraction of the air required by conventional, ejector-pump systems. You can also check out the tried-and-true Encore® HD -Manual Powder Coating System with close-loop air volume control for highly repeatable, superior coating results. Peruse Nordson's Encore powder spray guns and accessories like the convenient and safety-approved nLighten LED kit.

John Sudges, Midwest Finishing Systems, Inc.

Frank Mohar, Nordson Corporation

Mike Withers, Axalta Coating Systems

There are many factors to consider when installing and running a powder system, with the initial design layout being at the forefront. Three field experts will explore different sizes and styles of pretreatment systems, dry-off and cure ovens, as well as powder booths and manual guns, all designed to fit your application needs. In addition, they will help you calculate overall footprint sizes to help you determine what system is right for your space and budget.
