Choose Your Configuration
Designed with versatility in mind, the Encore VT mobile dolly systems are available in three configurations, to best suit your specific powder coating needs:
- For feeding powder direct from the manufacturers box, choose between two vibratory box feeders – either 110- or 220- volt versions.
- Alternatively, feed powder from a 50lb (23Kg) capacity stainless-steel fluidized hopper.
The Encore VT is also available in wall- or rail-mounted configurations for fixed installation

Vibratory Box Feed (VBF) Mobile System

Encore HD manual spray systems use Nordson HDLV® dense phase technology and make manual coating easy. Perfectly balanced at 530 g they are also light and comfortable for an operator’s hand. The patented On-Gun control and display, allows the operator to quickly adjust the powder output or change the coating program without being distracted from the coating task.
Faster color change – Greater productivity
Advanced electrostatics with the precise control gun current at levels below 5 μA deliver superior application performance even with challenging metallic powders. Color changeable in less than a minute without disassembly, the system also features a convenient purge function which can be used any time during operation to ensure the highest finish quality.

Nordson dense-phase HDLV® and Encore® HD powder spray systems deliver superior efficiency and coating uniformity. Tight control of the coating process yields significant powder savings. Proven long-lasting performance maximizes up-time and productivity.
Principle of Operation
In a conventional, ejector-pump spray system, wear of venturis over time influences powder output. The effect of wearing venturis can be seen in the chart. To compensate for anticipated wear and powder output degradation, operators must balance between excessive applied coating cost and compromised quality.

Our Nordson Encore HD system operates for 10 hours per day, 5 days per week. Since installation we have only had to maintain one pinch valve in one of the HD pumps. That’s over 4,000 hours of maintenance free pump operation.
We took a look at several systems, conducted tests, and decided on HDLV dense phase technology from Nordson. It impressed us with its high performance and its coating quality.
Compared to our previous system with venturi pump technology, with the Nordson dense-phase technology we have powder material savings of around 30%. Throughout our 3-shift operation we coat consistently a film thickness of 80μ ±10 μ, which is important for the functionality of our lifting columns.
