Recycling of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)

European Union Directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE Directive) requires producers to coordinate the disposal of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE).  As such, Nordson is registered with compliance schemes in the member states to facilitate this activity.

Generally, EEE products are labelled with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. This is to show the end-user that the item must be disposed separately from other types of waste in order to ensure environmentally sound treatment and recycling.

If you have Nordson WEEE that requires disposal, please complete this form with the basic information that will help us determine the most efficient process.  Email the completed form to [email protected].  Following our review of the information, you will be contacted by a Nordson representative with the next steps.

Before you dispose of your end-of-life product:
- Remove batteries, if possible, and put them in the battery collection
- If they are built-in, put the entire product in the electrical waste collection
- Delete any data, if possible and applicable
