Overview
The Spectra Link controller saves adhesive while optimizing your packaging operations. This intelligent controller saves valuable learning and training time for busy facilities operating multiple lines with limited resources.
Easily integrate the controller with the parent machine PLC, or using Nordson’s BBconn composite system. The BBconn system allows for easy operation of all Nordson packaging equipment from the Spectra Link touchscreen, as well as remote control operation from mobile devices, giving you easy oversight of your line, anywhere and anytime. The flexible machine design allows Spectra Link components to be easily mounted, with the touchscreen and controller placed separately, when needed, for improved safety and accessibility.

Touchscreen pattern programming allows operators to visually observe the adhesive pattern on-screen prior to application, while complete system status is displayed in real-time right on the home screen.
Minimize product changeover time by taking advantage of the 50-recipe memory storage capacity. Pattern flexibility supports a wide variety of applications, with up to eight trigger inputs, eight pattern channel outputs, 24 beads per channel and an array of pattern types including:
dotted, stitched, random length, and mirrored.
