Parent Machine Integration Starter Kits
Nordson’s all-inclusive starter kits make integrating melters into parent machines much easier and faster for PLC engineers. Offering better support for our customers at no additional cost, the starter kits reduce PLC programming time from over 50 hours to less than a day–in some cases, less than an hour.
Overview
Parent Machine Intergration (PMI) Starter Kits enable customers to create their own customized and intuitive melter interface on the parent machine's HMI. It greatly increases the equipment monitoring and control functions that can be remotely accessed compared to discreet I/O. Nearly all melter data is available for analysis. Overall, PMI improves operator safety due to less interaction with different pieces of equipment, and increases operator efficiency due to centralized control and easy-to-use interface that requires minimal training.
