In the woodworking industry, furniture elements and panels are made from a wide range of raw elements: MDF, HDF, chipboard, honeycomb, etc. These raw materials are covered with decorative elements: on the larger surfaces with decorative foils/papers/etc.

 

Over the years, the industry has developed a wide range of machines for applying all kinds of adhesive onto decorative films/papers before these are laminated to the panels (many of them are roll coaters).

 

The Nordson system with its compact applicator and modular system design enables easy machine-integration and the system is available for different adhesive types. Flexible nozzle design makes it possible to optimize it for specific production requirements and the closed nature of the application system positively impacts the reliablity, efficiency and maintenance costs.
