How to Apply for a Foundation Grant

Mission

The Nordson Corporation Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life in our communities by supporting educational programs and initiatives that enable individuals to become self-sufficient, thriving, active participants in the community. 

Nordson Foundation Values 

In the spirit of our corporate founders, the Nordson Corporation Foundation continues to operate on the belief that business, as a corporate citizen, has a social responsibility to share its success with the communities where it operates, and employees live.  

We pursue results-oriented opportunities that prepare individuals to thrive in strong, vibrant communities. While Nordson funds a variety of nonprofit program areas, our primary focus is education and offers support to non-profit organizations that cultivate educational curriculum and experiences that foster job readiness and paths to aspire to higher education.  

Funding Allocation

The Foundation board of directors determines how funds are allocated based on online grant applications submitted by the applicants. Note that currently funding applications are accepted by invitation only, supporting Nordson’s goal of building strong relationships, supporting employee engagement, and maximizing impact with existing community partners.
