Encore HD pumps use HDLV^® technology with High Density powder, Low Velocity air. They transport the powder from the powder feed hopper to the Encore HD powder coating guns.

HDLV^® High-Capacity powder transfer pump is used for transferring recovered powder from a cyclone, adding fresh powder from a variety of the bulk-feed devices. High volumes of powder are transferred with minimum of air. This significantly reduces the need for any excess air venting, aids powder sieving, eliminates waste. 

The high capacity pump station can also be integrated into your current system – pumping to and/or from various powder containers including

Nordson patented HDLV® (High Density Low Velocity) pumps deliver powder to the spray system with minimum of air offering the independent control of the powder and air volumes.

In a conventional, ejector-pump spray system, wear of venturis over time influences powder output. The effect of wearing venturis can be seen in the chart. To compensate for anticipated wear and powder output degradation, operators must balance between excessive applied coating cost and compromised quality.
