The ColorMax®2 quick color change powder spray system is optimized for efficient, repeatable powder application. Numerous features minimize powder in process and aid in system cleaning – providing you with fast, contamination-free color change.

ColorMax3 ("cubed") is a fast color change powder coating booth. It improves quality, reduces downtime and maximises your production. The booth floor is made of durable Apogee® composite material, and is automatically purge-cleaned for no powder accumulation inside the booth. Proven air-intake design creates soft down-draft airflow for high powder application efficiency and reliable overspray containment.
Designed specifically for the highest quality color change, this compact system is configurable to your specific requirements.
Coating performance, cubed
With a proven installed base, the ColorMax®3 booth delivers the highest color change quality in as short as 5 minutes, ensuring confident and consistent production. Manufactured from advanced materials and with a unique design the system features quick clean twin cyclones with direct operator access, Powder Feed Center and an ATEX certified cartridge after filter that provides the containment airflow within the booth.
Highly resource-efficient and clean operation
- Minimal powder in process at all times due to highest transfer efficiency and AirWash system contributing to a clean, and safe coating environment with less to color change

The best testimony to the performance of our powder coating systems come from customers with the highest production standards.
Our Nordson Encore HD system operates for 10 hours per day, 5 days per week. Since installation we have only had to maintain one pinch valve in one of the HD pumps. That’s over 4,000 hours of maintenance free pump operation.
We took a look at several systems, conducted tests, and decided on HDLV dense phase technology from Nordson. It impressed us with its high performance and its coating quality.
Compared to our previous system with venturi pump technology, with the Nordson dense-phase technology we have powder material savings of around 30%. Throughout our 3-shift operation we coat consistently a film thickness of 80μ ±10 μ, which is important for the functionality of our lifting columns.
