Nordson exhibitions and trade shows should reinforce the Nordson image through the consistent use of corporate identity elements.


These elements include the logo, the Nordson Blue Bar, fonts, and color. The overall graphic design of exhibition and trade show properties should always be clean, contemporary and professionally executed. Because exhibitions and trade shows vary widely in size and requirements, additional specifications are minimal. However, the following guidelines should be adhered to:

  • Nordson blue should be a dominant color within an exhibition design.
  • White and colors from the Secondary B and Light palettes are recommended as the main complementary colors.
  • The darker colors of the Secondary A palette should be used sparingly and limited to accent roles.
  • Source Sans Pro should be used for most text. Large blocks of text may use EB Garamond.

Multiple Nordson Brands at Exhibitions & Trade Shows
In many cases, a variety of Nordson branded and Nordson sub-branded businesses may be exhibiting at the same event, separately or in combination with one another. The following guidelines should be adhered to in these situations:


Multiple Brands with Multiple Distinct Exhibition Spaces: In this example, Nordson Adhesive Dispensing Systems, Nordson DAGE and Nordson EFD are all exhibiting at an event, but may be in different parts of the hall dedicated to different technologies. In the Nordson Adhesive Dispensing space, the Nordson logo should be the main identifier. In the Nordson DAGE space, the Nordson DAGE sub-brand logo should be the main identifier - there is no need for the stand alone Nordson logo. In the Nordson EFD space, the Nordson EFD sub-brand logo should be the main identifier - again, there is no need for a stand alone Nordson logo.

Multiple Brands in a Single Shared Exhibition Space: In this example this example, Nordson Adhesives Dispensing Systems, Nordson DAGE and Nordson EFD are all exhibiting at an event, in the same space.


A stand alone Nordson logo should be the main header and highest placed graphic element. This is the common element between all businesses in the space. Dedicated spaces in the booth for different businesses may be identified as such with approved sub-brand logos. For Nordson branded businesses, the Nordson logo alone is preferred, but additional identification may be provided with Helvetica Neue.
