Color Palette

The Nordson color palette consists of three families of colors: Nordson Blue and the Corporate Palette, the Accent Palette and the Neutral Palette.

The color palette is designed to provide a contemporary, professional and consistent appearance for Nordson while also allowing for creativity and flexibility.

Additional colors include black and white. Black should generally only be used for text or in the Nordson family of logos. White may be used anywhere.

In general, some element of Nordson blue should be used all communication (excepting communication that is 100 percent black and white). Minimally, this usually means that the Nordson logo and/or the blue bar graphic element will appear in Nordson blue.

Nordson Blue and the Corporate Palette are the primary colors and should be used throughout the majority of the design.

The Accent Palette is for subtle usage to help differentiate or to highlight areas such as headlines and supporting visuals.

The Neutral Palette is used for backgrounds and other subtle uses.

Product Colors

For products, Nordson blue, white, black, and the silver and gray tones are generally recommended. Nordson's Corporate, Accent and Neutral color palettes are typically not recommended for use on products.

The RAL color system is commonly used for product colors in Europe and other parts of the world. The recommended Pantone / RAL product colors are as follows:

Nordson blue Pantone 3005 = RAL-K1 5015

Silver Pantone Metallic 877 = RAL K1 9022

Gray Pantone 7544 = RAL-K1 7046

Gloss should be 55%
