Nordson brochures should reinforce the Nordson image through the consistent use of corporate identity elements.


These elements include the logo, the Nordson Blue Bar, fonts, and color. The overall graphic design of brochures should always be clean, contemporary and professionally executed.

The graphics standards that follow describe and illustrate the proper use of corporate identity elements to create a clear, consistent and unified image of Nordson Corporation through brochures. While creative execution may vary depending on the market or culture, the basic identity elements remain constant in all applications worldwide. Samples and specifications for these are shown below.

Brochure Front Cover Example

  • The logo appears at the bottom of cover in the lower right-hand corner. Observe minimum size and area of isolation rules.
  • The Nordson Blue Bar appears in the sign-off area anchoring the bottom of the cover. Observe sizing rules.
  • Main image: Area is fixed and should not be reduced. If image does not fill the area, background may be left white or may be another color from Nordson color palette.
  • Main headline: Below main image area. Size: typically ranging between 36-46 points. May be adjusted if needed. Font: Source Sans Pro. Color: Nordson Blue, black or accent color palette.

Brochure Internal Spread Example

Internal spreads of brochures may vary tremendously across businesses, depending, text, drawings, photographs and other content elements. In general, layouts may be flexible and should be based upon the brochure grids provided.


The following elements are typical for brochure spreads:

  • Market/Application image: use large, clear and professional photography. Large images may be supported by smaller images.
  • Main headline: Size: typically ranging between 36-46 points. May be adjusted if needed. Font: Source Sans Pro. Color: Nordson Blue, black or accent color palette.
  • Body Text is EB Garamond
  • Header: Marketing name and page number appears in the upper outside corner of each page.

Brochure Back Cover Sign-off Example
