Packaging for Nordson products presents another highly visible opportunity to build the company's brand worldwide.


Although Nordson has varied packaging requirements, consistent use of the logo, color and typography can create a clean, recognizable and functional package design, as shown in the examples below. In general, the following guidelines apply to packaging:

  • The logo appears in Nordson Blue (preferred) or black and is centered on two sides of the package.
  • The logo is clearly isolated from other visual elements, such as labels, isometric symbols and other handling information.
  • If product names are referenced on the packaging, they should follow the standard described in the product guidelines.
  • Shipping documents generally are placed in visible locations on the top or side of the package, and should not be positioned over the logo or other package lettering or graphics.
  • To help protect trademarks, packaging labels should contain the following tagline:
    • for Nordson branded businesses: "Nordson and Nordson Logo are trademarks of Nordson Corporation.
    • for Nordson sub-branded businesses: "Nordson, Nordson Logo and DAGE (example) are trademarks of Nordson Corporation.
    • contact Nordson Legal for specific questions on trademarks and packaging labels.

  • These guidelines may be modified as required to meet specific needs. A common sense approach that ensures a clear Nordson identity on packaging should prevail.
