Nordson BUILDs Scholarship Program

Nordson BUILDS Scholarship Program

Nordson Corporation created the Nordson BUILDS Scholarship Program to help build a skilled manufacturing and industry workforce.

Nordson BUILDS supports students pursuing manufacturing careers by reducing financial barriers to post-secondary education. Applicants must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be eligible for a Nordson BUILDS Scholarship.

Scholarships ($4,000 to $10,000) are available to students whose permanent residence or college is near a Nordson facility and who are pursuing manufacturing, engineering-related STEM, or business majors leading to careers in industry.

Selection is based on academic performance, leadership skills, character, community service, school involvement, and alignment with the applicants intended major/career path.

The program is administered by Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges’ (OFIC) Scholarship Management Resources (SMR), an independent provider that supports a fair, objective selection process. Awards depend on the number and quality of applications received.

The online application opens January 15 and closes May 15 each year. Children/dependents of Nordson employees may apply.
