Nordson Appoints Andreas Trouvain as Aftermarket Director for Polymer Processing Systems Products in Europe

Nordson Corporation has appointed Andreas Trouvain to the new position of aftermarket director for the Polymer Processing Systems (PPS) range of products in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East (EAME), the company announced today.

MÜNSTER, GERMANY, November 24, 2014: Nordson Corporation has appointed Andreas Trouvain to the new position of aftermarket director for the Polymer Processing Systems (PPS) range of products in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East (EAME), the company announced today.

Mr. Trouvain will lead a Münster-based team providing field service, startup support, troubleshooting, maintenance, refurbishment, and spare parts. He will be responsible for the Nordson BKG line of underwater pelletizers and centrifugal dryers and the Nordson Kreyenborg range of melt filtration systems, pumps, and valves. In the near future he will also oversee aftermarket services for Nordson EDI flat die systems and Nordson XALOY screws and barrels, working with existing aftermarket teams for these products based elsewhere in Europe.  

“Following a period of sustained growth, we have created the position of aftermarket director to ensure the highest standard of service across our broad range of components for melt processing,” said Godfrey Sandham, vice president for PPS products in the EAME sector. “Andreas will draw on his 18 years of experience in leadership roles with Nordson to support our customers in achieving successful startups, increasing productivity, and reducing downtime.”  

Andreas Trouvain joined Nordson Corporation in 1996, initially serving in sales, support service, and marketing positions. From 2002 to 2012 he was global manager of the company’s Container Group. Subsequently he was a director of business development, responsible for starting European businesses for Nordson’s contain and automotive units.

Mr. Trouvain holds the degree of Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) Master of Engineering.
