Midori Wakabayashi joins Nordson as Sales and Technical Support Assistant for EDI® Extrusion and Coating Dies

TOKYO, September 25, 2017: Nordson KK has appointed Midori Wakabayashi as a sales and technical support assistant.

 

Nordson KK supplies new EDI® extrusion and coating dies to the Asian market and provides remanufacturing services for existing dies. Ms. Wakabayashi will work with the in-house sales staff and provide technical support for customers. In addition, she will coordinate between customers in Asia and the engineers at Nordson’s die manufacturing operation in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, USA

 

“The addition of Ms. Wakabayashi to our team is part of an ongoing expansion of Nordson KK’s capabilities for serving the Asian market,” said Hidemaro Takehara, general manager of Nordson’s Polymer Processing Systems business group in Japan. “Her engineering experience involving industrial components will contribute to our goal of providing rapid local support to our customers throughout the region.”

 

Midori Wakabayashi comes to Nordson from IIDA Denki Kogyo, a builder of ignition systems for engines, where she spent four years in the engineering department.

 

She holds a BA degree from International Christian University in Japan and an MSc degree from the Gradual School of Science at the University of Tokyo.
