Nordson YESTECH Names Kevin Garcia Regional Sales Manager

Carlsbad CA, - Nordson YESTECH, a subsidiary of Nordson Corporation (Nasdaq: NDSN) and a leading supplier of automated optical and x-ray inspection systems for the electronics industry, today announced that Kevin Garcia has been promoted to the position of Regional Sales Manager for the Western United States, effective January 2010.

In this new role, Garcia will be responsible for managing sales activity in the area utilizing his extensive technical background to better serve the large installed customer base and help ensure the Company’s award winning level of customer satisfaction.

"Kevin is a key asset to Nordson YESTECH’s organization,” said Troy Johnson, Vice President of Sales. “His years of YESTech system application experience are a valuable resource for our customers. We’re delighted to have Kevin onboard as Regional Sales Manager.” said Johnson.

Garcia joined Nordson YESTECH in 2005 as an Applications Engineer where he provided applications and hardware engineering support for their automated optical inspection and X-Ray systems designed for electronic assembly inspection. He was promoted to Applications manager in 2007.

Prior to joining Nordson YESTECH, Garcia was the IT Account Manager for TechRoom, Inc. where he managed IT service and support for small business clients in Southern California. Garcia is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine with a B.S. in Computer Engineering
