13 Oct 2009

Concord, CA, October 13, 2009 – Nordson MARCH, the global leader in advanced plasma cleaning and treatment systems, announced today that it has released the AP-1500 plasma system, an extra-large “batch” type plasma system used to clean and treat electronic components, circuit boards, and medical & life science devices for a variety of assembly and packaging applications. The AP-1500 plasma system is ideally suited for facilities that require a larger system than the current AP-1000 plasma system.

“The market is very excited about the new, larger AP-1500 plasma system,” said Scott D. Szymanski, Global Marketing Manager at Nordson MARCH. “For a very small increase in footprint, it offers a much larger plasma chamber and the ability to use up to 2,000 watts of RF power for plasma cleaning and treatment applications. The AP-1500 plasma system will prove popular with customers who require the largest chamber and highest throughput for their manufacturing operations.”

The AP-1500 plasma system is on sale now through Nordson MARCH’s world-wide sales and service network. For those considering the AP-1500 plasma system, plasma evaluation and demonstration work is also available for those who qualify.
