· Develop worldwide strategy for business, following market trends/customer needs and developing action plans for the organization to achieve profitable revenue.
· Responsible for the worldwide commercial success and profitability of their product lines
· Be a marketing led organization, identifying new applications and market niches to pursue. Develop value proposition and specifications for new products
· Product launches, pricing, documentation (sales & customer), training
· Product family management
· Responsible for 5 year product roadmaps including the identification of specific technologies to be developed in support of future needs
· Simplifying the product lines and striving to eliminate the lowest volume products while maintaining/increasing profitability of their business segment.
· Partner with global sales organizations and support them as necessary to achieve the current year financial goals combined with a forward looking plan to meet future financial goals
· Ensure that customer receives the same Nordson experience around the world from quote to cash
- Maintain consistency of process and approach with other line of business managers (cohesive team is necessary in approach to processes and market)
