For medium- and high-pressure systems, we recommend that a metal jacket be used over the mixing nozzle 1. Nordon EFD offers a range of low-cost, one-piece jackets. They are ideal for robotic 2 applications where repeat positioning is required. All Nordson EFD manifolds and valves 3 have our standard 7/8 x 14 thread, but our metal jackets are offered in both standard and an alternative 7/8 x 9 thread for your convenience.
