The Flow Monitoring System measures the volume of material dispensed on a product against an established target. The Nordson ASYMTEK Easy Coat® for Windows XP® (ECXP) software logs all data (amount of material dispensed) to a log file and database. The data is displayed on the computer screen in bar graph format with time history.
High and low limits for dispensed volume are established during product programming. In operation, the PC system controller together with ECXP software, monitors the gear-type flow meter when the coating sequence begins. The ECXP software records and displays the data on the graph. If the dispensed volume is outside the present range, the system can be programmed to stop and sound an alarm, pause or continue dipensing.
The Flow Monitoring system consists of three major elements: the gear-type meter that fits in the fluid line, an interface board, and ECXP software.
The Flow Monitoring System is designed for use with Nordson ASYMTEK's S-940E/S-941-E conformal coating systems that are equipped with the SC-204/205, SC-280N, SC-300 or SC-400 applicators.
