Application Technician (f/m)

Responsibilities:

Following a comprehensive training period in the field of micro dispensing technology, through which you will become familiar with EFD products and their application, you will work independently and purposefully in a small team of specialists. In this wide-ranging position, you will monitor challenging experiments in the test laboratory or with customers on site.

• Preparation and support of customer-specific tests as part of application development projects in the test laboratory or with customers both at home and abroad
• Collection and administration of data resulting from the tests and communicating this information to the responsible project manager
• Ensuring the correct maintenance and care of the test laboratory and equipment 
• Assisting with the implementation of internal and external training programmes and application consulting
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving with our customers on site
• Supporting team colleagues with development projects

Education Required:

Successfully completed degree in the field of automation technology (or similar course of study) or mechanical engineering technician with relevant professional experience

Experience Required:

Relevant professional experience in the abovementioned areas of activiity ideally in the office and in field service

Skills:

• Knowledge of mechanics and pneumatics as well as in special machine construction
• A good command of English is absolutely necessary due to our international environment
• Valid vehicle licence and willingness to travel (variable, approx. 25%)
• Enjoyment of team-oriented, structured work with a high awareness of quality and responsibility
