WESTLAKE, Ohio –  October 24, 2005 –    Nordson Corporation  (Nasdaq:NDSN) today announced that   Christopher Graff has joined the company as vice president of global sales for its EFD subsidiary, located in East Providence, R.I.  EFD designs and manufacturers precision dispensing devices for applying controlled amounts of the adhesives, sealants, lubricants and other assembly fluids used in almost every manufacturing process throughout the world.  In this position, Graff will oversee EFD’s worldwide sales operations and report to EFD President Peter Lambert.  

Prior to joining EFD, Graff spent six years in sales and marketing positions with Tyco International’s Plastics & Adhesives group. Most recently, he served as director, sales & marketing, consumer & construction adhesives, where he lead the creation of new product sales for this $150 million global consumer and industrial business.  While at Tyco, he also served as marketing manager for the consumer & construction adhesives business and as a product manager for consumer adhesives. Graff has also held sales and marketing positions with NER, Demert & Dougherty and Quaker State Oil.  

Graff holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Ithaca College and a master’s degree in business administration from Boston University.
