Wedge Shear

The Nordson DAGE bondtesters provide wedge shear tests (up to 50kg) primarily used for the testing of aluminium wedge and ribbon bonds in microwave, high frequency, power, automotive, hybrid and solar devices.

The wedge shear test methodology combines relatively high forces with ultra high precision shear height accuracy and requires automatic touchdown of the loadtool and high precision stepback in Z.
