Responsibilities:

       

• Participates in product definition and design specification processes.
• Designs and implements, either working alone or as part of a development team, high quality solutions to meet or exceed product requirements. 
• Works with software and test engineers in defining interfaces and making hardware/software trade-offs.
• Performs thorough testing and evaluation of solutions to ensure maximum quality levels and complete functionality. 

Education Required:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree

Experience Required:

 

 

Minimum of 2 years experience in an electrical engineering role

 

Skills:

 

• Solid understanding of electrical and software design principles. 
• Experience with 16 or 32-bit embedded controllers; prefer experience with ARM and Freescale.
• Experience in C programming.
• Good debugging and problem solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
