Time ‘n Talent Introduction

Nordson employees share their time and talents with the community.  The launch of Nordson’s volunteer program in 1993 built on a Nordson tradition of giving back to the community.  Hundreds of employees participated in the inaugural activities of the new program, called Time ‘n Talent.  Through this program, employee leadership committees organize volunteer projects and recruit coworkers, retirees, friends and family members to volunteer on a project-by-project basis.  Since the inception of Time ‘n Talent, employees have organized and participated in more than 250 projects volunteering more than 53,000 hours to local organizations.  Based on national statistics, this equates into more than $900,000 given back to local communities through volunteerism.

The mission of the Time ‘n Talent program

To encourage volunteerism by providing all employees, retirees and their families’ opportunities to plan and participate in organized volunteer activities which address needs in our communities
