WHY ATTEND THIS WORKSHOP?

Two-day instruction and hands-on training:


The hands-on, two-day Powder Coating Workshop is an intensive, introductory seminar on powder coating materials, their application, troubleshooting and maintenance, as well as hands-on training.

You should attend if you are:

  • New to a powder coating operation
  • Considering converting from a liquid to a powder coating system

In the classroom, learn the latest:

  • Properties, storage and handling of powder coating materials
  • Application equipment – components, use, maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Powder booth and recovery systems and troubleshooting

Instructors: Attendees will first learn how the equipment is designed to work, then how to use and maintain it. Instructors will include the Director of North American Sales & Service, Ken Kreeger.  Our Lab Manager, Steve Brattoli, will conduct the hands-on portion of the workshop in the powder demonstration lab.

Automatic Gun Set-Up & Application Technique in Laboratory

  • Parts coated will consist of parts provided by Nordson Corporation. Alternatively, attendees may bring a part to coat with a manual gun. Our lab technicians will help identify optimal coating techniques. If you plan to bring a part, it must meet these requirements:
    • No larger than 3’X3’X3’
    • Under 100 lbs.
    • Nordson will supply powder
