Nordson’s individual lean cells are dedicated to the wiring, piping and assembly operations for:

  • Apogee® Canopies, Booth Bases, Color Modules, Hoppers and Electrical
  • Additional inspections for damage, fit and function are made for quality control prior to shipment

Apogee® Canopies
  • Proprietary composite material resists powder accumulation
  • Provides superior structural integrity without cumbersome roof supports
  • Seamless, one-piece wall and roof sections 
  • Custom configured to meet your opening and conveyor height requirements
Booth Bases
  • Powder coated for improved durability
  • Electrical conduit is connected to ancillary equipment per your specification, in either hard-piping or seal-tight connection
  • Pneumatic tubing is installed under base for dress-out and ease of powder coating system operation with provisions included for future expansion
Color Module
  • Powder coated for improved durability
  • High-performance filter cartridges are installed for better performance
  • Nordson color module design includes quick-disconnect capability to enhance faster customer set-up
  • Pneumatic tubing and transfer pump installation makes component operation-ready with hook-up at your facility
Hopper
  • Powder coated for improved durability
  • Required powder pumps and pneumatic tubing with quick-disconnect feature are installed
  • Azo®* sieve is wired and installed, if required
  • Level control well for monitoring powder level during coating operation is connected, if required

Electrical
  • Interconnections wiring between components on booth base are completed to maximum extent possible
  • Master control panel has electrical fitting installed to facilitate final hook-up
  • Fan motors are wired as required, to the maximum extent possible Components are tested to assure proper function
