Nordson blank coating systems provide uniform powder coating of post-formed steel blanks for household appliances such as washers, ovens, and refrigerators, as well as other products that can be pre-coated and post-formed.
Powder application at process speeds in excess of 50 fpm is optimized through precision control of all gun parameters for varying part widths, line gaps, and film thickness requirements.
Nordson Tribomatic® spray guns are recommended for most flat-line applications. The tribo-charge system allows for high efficient at high line speeds. When paint wrap around parts needs to be minimized, corona-charge guns are recommended. In flat-line applications, the Faraday-cage effect of corona guns will limit part wrap. Underside coatings can also be applied.
