Nordson Corporation (Nasdaq – NDSN) announces the promotion of John J. Keane to vice president, packaging and product assembly business group, North American division. In this position, Keane will manage the company’s adhesive dispensing and verification systems used by packagers for forming and sealing operations and by manufacturers for bonding and sealing plastic, metal and wood products.

Keane joined Nordson in 1992 as project engineer for the Nordson converting business group and was promoted to engineering manager of the group in 1996. In 1997 Keane joined the packaging business group, North American division, where he has held positions of increasing responsibility, including marketing manager and engineering manager before being promoted to vice president.
Keane holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
